Motorsport plays an important role in breathing life into the car industry, many of us grew up watching racing legends do what they do best, which produces not only lifelong fans, but also helps push the industry as a whole. The research and development that goes into racing always trickles down, and so what eventually what went into researching an F1 car for example, will go into the development of road car. Milltek is no difference, we believe our passion and company goals align perfectly with motorsport, it plays a key part in our ability to deliver the high quality products we are known for.
Motorsports are some of the toughest testing grounds for vehicle parts, this shows that our systems are tried and tested, pointing towards the durability and quality of our products. As an automotive engineering company, the involvement in motorsports gains valuable insight and helps us innovate further and push boundaries.
When talking about the biggest and best one-make series, you need to mention the Milltek Civic Cup, since being established in 2011 this event has only gotten bigger, with it now being the 6th successive season as title sponsor. All these vehicles run full Milltek performance exhausts, which are all the same systems that are available to the public.
We also try to help out where we can, In late 2024 we produced a bespoke exhaust for a Jaguar XF Sport, which supported Mission Motorsport – The Forces Motorsport Charity Race for Remembrance. This was in partnership with AFCN Motorsport, sporting a special livery created by renowned automotive artist popbangcolour.
More recently we currently support Maximum Motorsport's Civic Cup, Power Maxed Racing in the British Touring Car Championship. We also support Philip Geipel & Katrin Becker in the German Rally Championship.
