We took our Golf MK8.5 R overseas for Dubshed! Ireland's premier automotive event.
Whilst we like to keep close to home at HQ, we thought it was only right to submit our car for the indoor halls at the show, forgetting we were actually scheduled to be on track at Spa Francorchamps a few weeks earlier. But as this was the first year in many that plans haven't collided, we did both.
Dubshed has always caught our eye over the years and it's been quite a while since we attended. But heading back to our heritage in the VAG community was a blast, connecting with so many enthusiasts who have purchased Milltek for their pride and joy was amazing. Seeing the level of craftsmanship going into the show cars these days is a wonderful sight.
Now lets get onto our car, the VW Golf MK8.5R, currently equipped with a Milltek valved 'Race' 80mm development system (which is fully road legal) and a bunch of other goodies from our industry partners. Including wheels and suspension.
