• Milltek Sport marks its 40th anniversary with a new film celebrating four decades at the forefront of performance exhaust development.
  • Filmed at the state-of-the-art Catesby Tunnel vehicle testing facility, the new video stars performance car legends from Milltek Sport’s history, as Managing Director Steve Pound reflects on the company’s journey over the last four decades.

Milltek Sport, the premium performance exhaust specialist, is marking its 40th birthday with a new film exploring the company’s journey from local MG and Triumph specialist into one of the world’s leading performance exhaust manufacturers.

Featuring dynamic footage captured at the Catesby Tunnel - a state-of-the-art, purpose built 2.7km vehicle testing facility in Northamptonshire - the film stars some of the most important performance cars of the last four decades, from the original Volkswagen Golf GTI to the current BMW M3 Touring.

Established as Falcon Automotive Engineering by Phil Millington in 1983, the business began as a thriving local wholesaler supplying stainless-steel exhausts for British classics including the MGB and Triumph Stag. Manufacturer business soon followed, the business expanding into a tier-one supplier of OEM Bentley and Rover later in the decade, before launching the Milltek Sport brand in 1995.

Milltek Sport now has distributors in 96 countries around the world and develops premium first-to-market systems for the very latest high-performance and prestige models. Its latest range includes performance exhausts for the BMW M2 G87, INEOS Grenadier and Range Rover L460, following the launch of systems for the latest BMW M3, Lotus Emira and Honda Civic Type R earlier this year.

With strategically positioned development centres in the UK, Germany and Tennesse, USA, Milltek Sport is now poised for a five-year strategic expansion that will see the company invest further as part of its next phase of growth.
